Apna Alirajpur App

Having shadowed the district magistrate and collector of Alirajpur, and having undertaken independent research in the rural district, I decided to apply some of my learnings from these experiences in practical ways. I realized that there was a gap in communication between the district administration and the locals, which hampered the government’s efforts to control the spread of COVID-19.

To this end, I conceptualized and facilitated the development of Apna Alirajpur (Our Alirajpur) App, created under the guidance of Mr. Rakesh Jain, a recognised Intel innovator. The app is particularly designed to help Alirajpur residents address their concerns and queries directly to the District Magistrate. The app helps to not only facilitate to-and-fro communication between the local government and citizens, but also helps raise much-needed awareness about COVID-19.
